Screen Settings (Ctrl-L, select Window Settings)

Prompt for Putaway - checkbox
When this setting is turned on, the user will be prompted to put away the reported container.
Report to Existing Cont - checkbox
When this setting is turned on, the user is allowed to enter the track # of an existing container in the Track # field. Otherwise, they will only be allowed to report to a new container.
Tracked SKU landable - checkbox
When this setting is turned on, the user will be allowed to change the value in the UOM field.
Insert Default Qty - checkbox
Default value is on. For new containers, fill the Quantity field with the default amount for this container type.
Max Days Back Dated - textfield
The maximum number of days the user is allowed to back date the production.
Display Order Number - checkbox
When this setting is on, show an Order number field.
Display Line Number - checkbox
When this setting is on, show a Line field.
Display Owner Field - checkbox
When this setting is on, show a Owner field.
Default Owner - textbox
Set up the Owner to be the default value for the Owner field.
Display Pack Key - checkbox

Allow invalid items - checkbox
When this setting is turned on, validating the item information will not take place. The user is allowed to create false items. Default value is on.
Display as Item/Pack (X) Product ( ) - checkbox
When this setting is turned on, the Item and Pack fields will display on the screen. When it is off, the Product field will display. Default value is on.
Display Reason Codes? - checkbox
When this setting is on, display and populate the Dtl Cd field with the list of reasons to be selected from.
Show Layers and Parts - checkbox
When this setting is on, show the Layers and Parts fields.
Number of pallets allowed to create (0 = UNLIMITED) - textfield
Number of pallets that the user is allowed to create at one time. Default is 0, which means unlimited.
Default bin - textfield
Set up the bin name to be used as the default bin. Default value is PRODSTAGE.
Handheld User Parameters - textfield
Set up the number of user parameters the user is allowed when operating in handheld mode. The default is 3.
Use track number as lot number - checkbox
When this setting is on, the track number will be used as the default lot number.
Auto-generate Order Number - checkbox
When this setting is turned on, Whistle will automatically create a new order number. Default value is off.
Default reason code - textfield
The user can enter a value to be used as the default reason code. Any value entered here will be used as the reason code, and the field may not be displayed on the screen.
Append Group Code to Reason Code - checkbox
The group code is added at the end of the reason code.
Decode Matrix - checkbox
Customer specific window setting.
Container Label File - textfield
This field holds the file and path giving the location of the container label setup file.
Default number of copies - textfield
This is the initial value set in the Copies field on the screen, for the number of labels to print. Default value is 1.
Default Line Number - textfield
This is the value that will be displayed in the Line Number field. Default value is blank.
Add new lines to existing pallet - checkbox
When this setting is turned on, the user will be allowed to add new lines to an existing pallet. Default is off.
Default trandate - textfield
This value is the initial value displayed in the tran date field. Default value is blank.
Use Prod Date for Lot Mfg and Create Dates - checkbox
The prod date value will be set in the lot mfg date and create date columns in the lot table.
Create lot as type Manufactured Item - checkbox
When this setting is checked, the lot record created will have Manufactured Item define in the type field.
Require ERP lot creation - checkbox
A lot will be created, if one does not already exist.
Prevent entry of future dates in Prod Date field - checkbox
When this option is turned on, the Prod Date field will not allow the entry of future dates.
Use Production Day setting from Report Prod - checkbox
Use the Production Day value that was set in the Report Production window settings.
Set Lot Hold Code if QC Tests exist - checkbox
The lot hold code will be set if there are QC Tests set up for this lot.
Set Unreport Trans Date to be right after Report - checkbox
The transaction date used for the Unreport transaction will be set to be 1 minute after the transaction date of reporting production.
Display Comment field - checkbox
A field for Comments will be added to the screen.
Clear on OK - checkbox
The entire screen will be cleared after a transaction is completed.
Require entry in Comment field - checkbox
The user is required to make an entry in the Comment field.
Store Lot Certification in userfield nine - checkbox
If this setting is on, the lot certification information will be collected and stored in User Param VC9.
Collect Kill Date - checkbox
Collect the kill date information.
Use Lot Extension table for Kill Date - checkbox
When collecting kill dates, get information from the lot extension tables.
Select Shelf Life at 0) Default 1) Co 2) Whs 3) Ent level - textfield
Enter in a 0, 1, 2, 3 to indicate where the shelf life information will be retrieved from.
Lot Number Format- textfield
Default is "1 PPYJJJHHSSSS|2 YYJJJPPL". User enters either a 1 or a 2, depending on which lot format mask they want to use. PP - plant, Y - last digit of production year, JJJ - julian day, HH - hour, SSSS - user entered sequence (zero padded), L - user entered line number.
