Security

Updated security model to support group security.

System Wide

New menu system allows users to switch between a hierarchical and a flat menu structure.

For deployment scenarios where the application server is proximal to the database, it is possible to disable in-memory caching.

Palletize Flow

GT features a new Palletize Flow Window, which performs a split transaction. It is optimized for building new pallets from a special purpose fixed pallet, typical of flow through freezer operations.

Infor PickList transactions

Currently, Whistle interfaces a quick ship style transaction at the end of the shipping process, where pick list generation, pick confirmation, loading and shipping all happen in one step. Instead, this functionality will use the Infor transactions for PickLists on various windows, to support pricing and specification matching requirements throughout the shipping process. The actual shipping will be done in Infor.

Staging Window changes for PickList Transactions

Interface pick/depick records

this window setting turns on the functionality for this window. If the setting is on, then the first loading of the sales order will check Infor to see if a picklist exists for this order. If so, it will use that picklist. If not, a PickList Generation TEE file will be submitted to Infor to create the picklist.

As each pallet is picked for the order, a Pick Confirmation TEE file will be created and submitted to Infor to record the pick. If any sublotted inventory is selected, the sublots on the pallet will be submitted as part of the TEE file.

If a pallet is deallocated, a Depick TEE file will be created for the deallocated inventory, and submitted to the TEE server.

When the "Done" button is pressed, a Stock Move TEE file will be created to move all selected inventory to the staging location selected.

Load Window

Interface Load Information

this window setting turns on the functionality for this window. If it is on, a "Done" button will display at the bottom of the screen. After all pallets are loaded for all the orders on the load, the user presses the "Done" button. A Shipment TEE file will be created for the load, with a status of Loaded ("L"). This will list all inventory for all orders on that load, including any sublot information. It will be submitted to the TEE server for processing.

LoadShip Window

this window setting turns on the functionality for this window. If it is on, it will suppress sending any files to the TEE server, as they would already have been processed during the Load transaction. When the "Done" button is pressed, the Whistle tables will be finalized for this picking/loading/shipping transaction.

Shipping Window

When the "Ship" button is pressed, the Whistle tables will be finalized for this picking/loading/shipping transaction.
