- UNTRACKED lot buffer days - inputfield
- Whistle created-lots for untracked items will calculate the pull dates by adding the ERP shelf-life plus this buffer to the current system date.
- TRACKED lot buffer days - inputfield
- Whistle created-lots for tracked items will calculate the pull dates by adding the ERP shelf-life plus this buffer to the current system date.
- Do not allow user to alter suggested lot. - checkbox
- This option, when checked on, will not allow the user to change the lot field entry suggested by Whistle.
- No Multiples - checkbox
- When this option is turned on, Whistle will not allow the user to receive more than one pallet at a time.
- Number of pallets allowed to create (0 = UNLIMITED) - textfield
- Default is 0. This allows the company to specify how many pallets the user is allowed to create at one time.
- Print Label Doc - inputfield
- This field accepts the a Print Document Label name to be used instead of the default label file.
- Do not suggest qty. - checkbox
- With this option checked, Whistle will not suggest default quantities for the quantity fields.
- Print by default. - checkbox
- With this option checked on, the print checkbox on the Receiving Window will be default checked as on.
- Number of labels to print - inputfield
- With a value placed in this field, it will become the default value for the number of labels to print for each print action.
- Add Qty - checkbox
- This option, if checked on, is used in catchweight implementations. It allows the quantity field to decode a UCC128 case label and sum the quantity of the case into the total quantity to be received. When using this feature, you can back out a quantity by keying in a negative number into the quantity field.
- Clear pull prod date field between pallets - checkbox
- With this option turned on, Whistle will clear the pull and/or production date fields after each receipt of a pallet.
- Allow untracked labels - checkbox
- This option, when checked on, will allow for untracked pallets to be given labels when printing occurs.
- Untracked Label Document - textfield
- Default is blank. This allows the user to specify the label document to use for printing labels for untracked inventory.
- Suggest Putaway - checkbox
- This option, when turned on, will have Whistle suggest a putaway bin for each pallet that is received.
- Show Closed Lines - checkbox
- Turning this option on will have Whistle display closed receipt order lines along with the open lines for viewing.
- Setup Untracked - checkbox
- This option, when turned on, will allow for the user to setup an untracked item as a tracked item by asking for the appropriate contain-pallet crossreferences.
- Confirm Receipt - checkbox
- With this option turned on, a confirmation message box will be displayed upon each successful receipt transaction.
- Default Lot - inputfield
- A default Lot code can be entered into this inputfield for all receipts.
- Default Proddate - inputfield
- A default Production Date can be entered into this inputfield for all receipts.
- Return wt pallets with out creating new track. - checkbox
- With this option turned on, warehouse transfer containers can be returned to inventory without the need to create a new pallet number.
- Auto close lines in tolerance - checkbox
- With this option turned on, the ERP system will be instructed to close order lines that are received within their quantity tolerance.
- Confirm Extended Lot - checkbox
- With this option turned on, any output that is associated to the container type “LOTUOM” for variable case-weight product will show a pop-up window showing the case weight and a number of additional extended lot parameters that can be edited prior to committed the transaction.
- Email inexact receipts to - inputfield
- With this option turned on, Whistle will send email notification to the input email address about receipts that are not exact.
- Autohold - checkbox
- With this option turned on, Whistle will place items to the appropriate inactive status that is reflected in their autohold setup.
- Order creator cannot receive - checkbox
- With this option turned on, Whistle will not allow the originator of the order to also be the receiver of the order.
- Enable vendor label parsing - checkbox
- With this option turned on, Whistle will add a field to the Receiving Screen for the user to scan a vendor supplied UCC128 label.
- Show vendor label window (Enable vendor label parsing must be enabled) - checkbox
- Default is ON. This setting will display the vendor label window when the user scans a barcode in the vendor label field. This window displays the various elements of the vendor label.
- User selectable shelf life - checkbox
- With this option turned on, Whistle will replace the pulldate field on the Receiving Window with a user selectable shelf-life field. The shelf-life options are pre-defined with ;Shelf-Life-Options screen setting (see below).
- Shelf life options [15 Days-Fresh Aardvark|60 Days-Frozen Aardvark|90 Da] - choicebox. User selectable
- shelf-life options are entered here. The format is “XX Description |” where XX is the number of days, followed by the description and then the pipe “|” separator.
- Parse Expiration From Case Qty Adder - checkbox
- When this option is turned on, Whistle will display an additional field called the “Qty Adder” field. This field is for receiving catchweighted items and gives the user the option of setting the production date of the product from the cases that have been scanned for the product - with the oldest date being the date that will be used.
- Allow PO line number specification - checkbox
- When this option is turned on, the user is allowed to specify the line number for the PO.
- Show Required Date By Line - checkbox
- When this option is turned on, the Pulldate field will be visible in the line specification display.
- Use only pre-printed labels - checkbox
- The pre-printed labels contain a new tracking number, not yet tracked in Whistle. When this option is turned on, Whistle will prevent you from using the **NEW** designation. Instead, you should enter or scan in a pre-printed label.
- Confirm new tracking number creation for pre-printed - checkbox
- If the pre-printed label is for a track# that is not currently tracked in Whistle, a confirmation dialog will display when the new container is created.
- Turn off printing - checkbox
- When this option is turned on, the Print button is not available.
- Parse line number from order field - checkbox
- When this option is turned on, the line number is part of the order number. It is used to find the correct line on the order.
- Append line number description to order - checkbox
- When this option is turned on, the line number is appended to the order number.
- Display Ambiguous Item Prompt - checkbox
- Sometimes, it is not obvious which exact item has been selected. If this happens, a prompt will appear to let you know that you must clarify the item selection, to be more specific about which item or item/pack is to be received.
- Auto-fill Ambiguous Line with pending receipt when possible - checkbox
- If the user is being forced to select a line, and the selected line is ambiguous, fill in the item information section with the order line information.
- Misc recpt chep pallets in erp - checkbox
- When this option is turned on, perform a Misc Receipt of any chep pallets into the ERP system.
- Chep Pallet Item# - textfield
- The item number to use for a chep pallet.
- Chep Pallet Reason - textfield
- The reason to use for a chep pallet.
- Destroy DELETED pallets - checkbox
- When this option is turned on, Whistle will remove the information about a deleted pallet from the database, rather than just moving it to a DELETED bin.
- Allow consignment inventory? - checkbox
- When this option is turned on, Whistle will allow you to receive consignment inventory.
- Allow Warehouse Transfer Receipt? - checkbox
- When this option is turned on, Whistle will allow you to receive warehouse transfers.
- Show Layers and Parts - checkbox
- When this option is turned on, display the Layers and Parts fields on the screen.
- Allow receipt of zero priced lines - checkbox
- When this option is turned on, the user is allowed to receive order lines that have a price of 0. An example would be a sample.
- Make lot field sticky across orders. - checkbox
- Once a value has been entered into the lot field, retain this value in the field for all the orders received, until the lot field is manually changed.
- Print consignment receipt report - checkbox
- If you are receiving consignment inventory, and this option is turned on, then you will print the consignment receipt report when the inventory is received.
- Default Owner - textfield
- Default value to put in the Owner field, if applicable.
- Past Due Order Lookup limit (in days, -1 returns all) - textfield
- Number of days to go back to find the past due orders. For example, if the value is 5, then limit the past due order lookup to all orders that are 5 or less days past due.
- Default putaway bin - textfield
- Default value to put in the bin to use for putting containers away after inventory has been received.
- Copy waybill to userparam - textfield
- Enter the column name of the user param that you want to store the waybill information in.
- Default pallets to be created to 0 - checkbox
- When the user is allowed to create pallets, the starting value for the number of pallets to be created is 0.
- Default Bin for putting away WTs - textfield
- The default bin to be used for putting away pallets used in Warehouse Transfers.
- Update Adage lot expiration to oldest current pulldate - checkbox
- The expiration date in the lot table in Adage is updated to the oldest pulldate used on the pallet.
- Append unique id to lot number - checkbox
- Append a unique identifier at the end of the lot number, used to differentiate between receipts of the same order at different times.
- Prevent entry of future dates in Prod Date field - checkbox
- Do not allow the user to enter a date after todays date in the Prod Date field.
- Receive expired products - checkbox
- When this setting is ON, the user is allowed to receive expired products.
- Set Lot Number to Order - Number of Times Received - checkbox
- When this setting is ON, the lot will default to <order>-<number of times this order as been received>.
- Use Multiline Po Receipts TEE transaction - checkbox
- When this setting is ON, the TEE file created will use the Multiline PO Receipt tee file setup.
- Clear user param fields between pallets - checkbox
- This setting will clear out all of the user parameter fields after each receipt.
- Duplicate container records for WTs - checkbox
- For warehouse transfers, create a new copy of the container recorders for this warehouse, instead of moving the existing container records. Default is ON.
- Print container labels for WTs - checkbox
- When this setting is ON, new labels will be printed for the pallets received during a warehouse transfer.
- Default lot to last digit of prod year + 3 digit Julian day - checkbox
- This setting will create lots with the pattern of the last digit of the current production year (2014 would be 4) followed by the 3 digit Julian day (Jan. 1 would be 001, December 31 would be 365).
- Use Production Day setting from Report Prod - checkbox
- There is a setting in the Report Production screen to allow the user to start the current production day at a time other than midnight. This setting will get the value set from that screen and use it to start the Receiving production day at that time.
- Collect Vendor Lot numbers - checkbox
- This setting will allow the user to collect the vendor's lot number. A new field will display on the screen to allow entry of that data.
- Collect Country of Origin information - checkbox
- This setting allows the user to collect the country of origin information on the items being received. A separate screen will be displayed to collect this information.
- ERP Lot Create Date is Entered Date - checkbox
- When this is turned ON, the value used in the ERP system for the lot for this receipt will be the value entered by the user.
- Collect Kill Date - checkbox
- When this setting is turned ON, the user will be able to enter the kill date information for the item being received.
- Use Lot Extension table for Kill Date - checkbox
- When this setting is turned ON, the kill date entered by the user will be compared to values stored in en_lot_ext for the kill date processing.
- Select Shelf Life at 0) Default 1) Co 2) Whs 3) Ent level - textfield
- This setting controls the ERP level at which users get the shelf life. 0 is the default, 1 is company level, 2 is warehouse level, 3 is enterprise level.
- Ensure OPallet is unique - checkbox
- This setting is used to ensure that the OPallet (user parameter setting stored in wms_user_paramVC1) information is unique, using the SQL statement set up for the user parameter wms_user_paramVC1 to check for duplicate entries. The SQL statement must be set up for this setting to work correctly.
- Show receive multi-lot RML button - checkbox
- When this setting is ON, a new button will display for the multi-lot RML.
- Store Case Count in User Field 9 for Bulk - checkbox
- For bulk inventory that is received by the case count, this will allow the user to enter the case count for the receipt, and store it in user parameter VC9.
- Receive using ASN - checkbox
- When this setting is on, the receiving process will check to see if there is an ASN for the receipt, and use that to expedite the receiving process. The user will only be required to scan the incoming pallets, and Whistle will create the receipt for those pallets. You will need to set up the incoming ASN ahead of time.
- Do not show pallet content message for receiving ASN pallet. - checkbox
- When receiving inventory using an ASN rather than data entry, this setting will suppress the dialog box detailing the contents of the scanned pallet.
- Use ASN SSCC as pallet number when receiving ASNs - checkbox
- When receiving inventory using an ASN, the SSCC number entered on the ASN will be used for the pallet number. This will only work for customers already set up to use larger (SSCC length) pallet numbers.
- If receiving ASNs, do not print case labels - checkbox
- During the ASN receiving process, do not print case labels for catchweight inventory.
- Use vendor lot as lot for ASN - checkbox
- During the ASN receiving process, use the lot entered on the ASN as the lot for the inventory being received.
