Screen Settings (Ctrl-L, select Window Settings)
- Try to default qtys - checkbox
- Set the qty and UOM fields to the default values for this container.
- Issue To WIP - checkbox
- When this setting is turned on, the screen will display an Issue Bin field, used to enter in the bin name to store the issued inventory.
- Show NFF Convert Button - checkbox
- Make the NFF Convert window available.
- Default WIP Bin - textfield
- Set up the name of the WIP bin to be used as the default bin.
- Prompt Print Label - checkbox
- When this setting is on, put up a message asking the user if they want to print a new label for the remaining inventory.
- Always Print Label - checkbox
- Always print a label for the remaining inventory. No message box is displayed.
- Print Label for Issued - checkbox
- Print a label for the issued container.
- Display Order Number - checkbox
- When this setting is on, show an Order number field.
- Auto-generate Order Number - checkbox
- Not used
- Allow user to change Order Number - checkbox
- Not used
- Display Line Number - checkbox
- When this setting is on, show a Line field.
- Default Shift - checkbox
- When this setting is on, allows the user to enter the shift information.
- Display Layers/Parts in Fork Mode - checkbox
- When this setting is on, show the Layers and Parts fields if Whistle is being run in Fork Mode. Default value is on.
- Lookup container by case number - checkbox
- Allows the user to enter a Case number in the Track # field. Whistle will look up the Track number containing that case, and enter it into the field.
- Forced Reason Code - textfield
- The user can enter a default reason code into this setting. If a value is entered, it will be used, and the Reason field will not display on the screen.
- Append Group Code to Reason Code - checkbox
- Not used.
- Show production date - checkbox
- Allows the user to enter in the production date.
- Compute production date - checkbox
- Allows the user to enter the production date.
- Production Day begins on hour (0=12AM, 7=7AM) - textfield
- Set the hour to begin the Production Day. Default is 0, which is midnight.
- Show Option Menu - checkbox
- When this is turned on, the Options menu is made available.
- Collect Work Order number - checkbox
- Allows the user to collect the Work Order number.
- Set transaction time - checkbox
- This allows the user to set the time of the transaction.
- Default production date to today - checkbox
- This will set the Production Date value to today.
- Display lines in current warehouse only - checkbox
- When looking for production lines to display, this will limit the display to lines in the current warehouse.
- Display lines w/o warehouse - checkbox
- This will remove the warehouse information from the order line display.
- Display Comment field - checkbox
- This will display a field in which the user can enter a comment.
- Require entry in Comment field - checkbox
- The user will be forced to enter a comment in the Comment field.
- Allow issuing from R-bins - checkbox
- This allows the user to issue pallets that are in R-bins.
- Restrict time # hours past and future (0=unrestricted) - textfield
- This will give the user a time range in which they can enter a time, only a certain number of hours in the past or the future.
- Always display time dialog - checkbox
- If there is a time entered, it will be used for the next transaction. However, if this setting is on, the time dialog will be displayed again.
