Here are some general notes for setting up the SATO CL408e RFID for operation with bartender.

  • Printer must be set for RFID Command Type "New"

Printer ships set to "Old" -- RFID codes are silently ignored in this mode.

  • Printer must be set to RFID Protocol "GEN2"

This is the default.

  • Printer must be set to RFID Tag Data Area "96 Bits"

This is the default.
